JILL HULTIN

Jill Hultin, President of Hultin and Associates, is a management consultant with over 25 years experience assisting executives and boards of public and private organizations in improving organizational performance. She is an expert in leadership development, strengthening governance, reframing organizational relationships and improving collaboration across organizational silos. She has worked extensively with mental health, health care and human service delivery organizations as a management consultant and as a lobbyist. Her work with financial services corporations and pharmaceutical firms has focused on adding value for customers, strengthening competitive advantage in the marketplace and the development of innovative partnerships that support win-win business growth for clients and their most critical customers or suppliers.

 

In prior positions, she was a senior vice president with S4 Consulting, a consulting firm specializing in the management of strategic organizational relationships and a vice president of Jefferson Consulting Group, a Washington DC firm providing strategic marketing and lobbying services. Ms. Hultin directed several state and local government reform initiatives and has advised government agencies at the federal, state and local levels on the design and implementation of new mental health and human services policies and the reform of acquisition processes. Earlier in her career, she managed the strategic planning process for Ohio Governor Richard F. Celeste, headed the Ohio Equal Rights Amendment Task Force for Governor John J. Gilligan, directed several not-for-profit organizations, and produced a series of award-winning films and television programs.

 

Previously she served as Chair of the Coro National Board, a leadership development organization, and has been a founding member of the Women’s Resource and Policy Development Center and Alexandria Neighborhood Health Services, Inc., not-for-profit organizations promoting the delivery of health and human services to underserved communities. She is a co-author of Journeys That Opened Up the World, a memoir on the early years of the civil rights and feminist movements.
