Born a Texan on Reese Air Force Base Lubbock, theatrically educated at Mary Baldwin College Staunton VA, but a New Yorker now, Suzie's professional and volunteer career is characterized by one word: SALES! Years of retail training: a dress buyer for Lord & Taylor and a former owner of Chappaqua's Penny Auntie 5&10, have honed her entrepreneurial skills and public relations savvy. Many non-profit leadership experiences include the Edgemont PTA, Junior League of Central Westchester, Greenburgh Nature Center, and Greenville Community Theater. She is currently president of The League of Women Voters New Castle and assists the LWVUS at the UN. "As a committed board member for WET I will enjoy knocking on every door and making every call to introduce others to the work of this fabulous women's nonprofit production company!"

Suzie thanks her parents, Nancy and Bill Maxson, for seating her in an orchestra seat for The Sound of Music with Mary Martin at age nine, her husband, John Maltz, for encouraging her to be a star in her own life and her four sons, Eric, Ryan, Kyle and Drew for their standing ovations no matter how the story ends.
